You'd have to admit that it's interesting that somehow, the most "successful" writers on Medium only seem to write stuff about "How to be successful"? The "More-from-Medium-list" next to this article is all about how to; "make $1000 a month", "get your shit read" (quote), "stop these bad habits", and "5 unique passive income ideas". I wonder what it would look like if these people actually wrote something instead of telling others how to get "their shit" read?
